Situated on the banks of River Bhavani, Periyakodiveri is a small settlement in
Erode District,
Tamil Nadu. Sprawling over an area of about 12 sq km, Periyakodiveri is bounded in the west by Bhavanisagar, in the east by
Gobichettipalayam, in the north by Kembanaickenpalayam, in the south by Elathur, in the south-east by Lakkampatty and in the north-east by
Vaniputhur.
Nearby tourist spots include Bhavani Sagar Dam,
Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple Wildlife Sanctuary, Satyamangalam, Bhavanisagar and
Bannari.
C A Coimbatore Airport is the nearest airport. Periyakodiveri can be accessed from Satyamangalam,
Annur and Gobichettipalayam by road.
