Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology

Established in 1997, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is a venture of the Manipal Enterprises Private Limited. Located on the banks of river Teesta, it has latest laboratory facilities, good library and modern means of teaching. SMIT is a constituent college of the Sikkim Manipal University. The institute offers 4 Year BE programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. It also offers Post Graduate courses in applied physics with specialization in Micro-Electronics and Image Processing and Computer Application courses leading to BCA and MCA.
