Goecha Pass




Goecha Pass (Goecha La) is a high altitude pass in West Sikkim District. The pass is just below Kanchenjunga, world’s third highest mountain. The pass ascends from Samithi Lake and is an ideal base for trekking. It descends to the Thangsing River. The pass offers good views of nearby mountains. The famous Rumtek Monastery and Talung Glacier are nearby.
