Thirana

Thirana is a small desert town in Hanumangarh District of Rajasthan. Kansar and Kekralia are the nearest towns. Sixteen kilometers to the east lies a town named Bachusar.

The district headquarters, Hanumangarh, is situated towards the north of Thirana. Some of the places of tourist interest include Kalibanga Archeological Museum, Baropal Lake and Bhatner Fort.

Thirana also holds mines of gypsum.

Hanumangarh Junction Railway Station and Ludhiana Airport are the nearest railway station and airport respectively.
