Siana is a village situated at the foot of the
Aravalli Ranges in west Rajasthan in. The village is bordered by the
Thar Desert on one of its sides. The land is a unique mixture of sand dunes and agricultural land. Even today it remains with its old charm and the people live on their traditional rural way of life.
This village has a rich history. It was ruled by the Chauhan clan of the Rajputs till the 16th century. It was later captured by the Marwar and came under the influence of Marwar State.
