Nehru Island is an oval shaped island garden covering an area of about 41 acres and lying humbly on the
Fateh Sagar Lake. The island garden overlooks the ancient Moti Mahal of
Rana Pratap. The garden features a lily pond and a chain of fountains of various sizes and with sparkling lights.
Boats are available to take visitors to the island.
Udaipur is connected by major roads to
Mumbai and
Delhi.
