Dundlod is a small town situated at the heart of the
Shekhawati region and is renowned for its rich culture and heritage. The painted havelis of Dundlod makes it a picturesque spot. Major attraction of the town is Dundlod fort which dates back to the 16th century. Built by a Rawal king, it is an excellent example of Rajputana and Mughal Schools of architecture. Now this fort is converted into a hotel.
Other attractions of Dundlod are Jagathia Haveli, Satyanarayan Temple, Tuganram Goenka Haveli, The Chokhani, Ladia and Saraf havelies, Diwan-I-Khas (an audience hall) and Kila of Dundlod, the 17th century Rajputana fort. A temple dedicated to Shiva is also a worth visit. Mandawa is 30 km southeast of Dundlod and is famous for its fort and havelis.
