Jaipur, Nahargarh National Park has an area of 50 sq km and was established in 1980. Covered by dry deciduous forests, the sanctuary has different varieties of flora such as dhok (anogeissus pendula), churel, salar (boswellia serrata), khair (acacia catechu) palash (b.monosperma) and date palm. The fauna includes leopard, hyena, jungle cat, wild boar, fox, jackal, blue bull, crocodile and many migratory and land birds. It is well connected by road, rail and air from Jaipur.
