Karara is a small town situated near the border line of India and Pakistan in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan. It is around 19 km to the south of Lunar and 20 km to the west of Daw.
Twenty-four kilometers to the south is Myajlar. Jaisalmer holds the major tourist spots and the railway and air access points.
