Lodurva is around 16 km from the city of
Jaisalmer. It was the capital of Bhati Rajputs before Rawal Jaisal founded Jaisalmer in 1155 AD. In the 10th and 11th century AD, Lodurva was a center of art and architecture.
With several magnificent Jain temples, this is an important pilgrimage center of the Jain community. Ornate arches and splendid carvings of the temples are the major attraction.
