Basei

Basei is a town in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan. The nearest town is Lathi, 8 km to the north. Sanawra, Sodakor and Sri Bradria are the other towns within 15 km. The district headquarters, Jaisalmer, lies to the west of the town. Some of the major tourist attractions are Jaisalmer Fort, Gadsisar Lake, Tazia Tower and Sonar Quila. Basei is well-connected by road with National Highway 15. The nearest major railway station is Jaisalmer Railway Station. Jaisalmer Airport is the closest airport.
