Keshorai Patan is located in
Bundi District of
Rajasthan. It is around 20 km north-east of
Kota.
Chambal River has its course through Keshorai Patan. A Jain temple, on the banks of Chambal River, here has the idol of Bhagvan Munisuvratnathji in Padmasana posture.
Its glory as a religious center dates back to ancient times. It was ruled by king Ranti Dev and was known as ‘Patan.’ It finds mention in several ancient texts and Puranas. In the month of Kartika, scores devotees visit the temple here.
Keshorai Patan Railway Station is on the Kota-Laban rail route. Kota Airport (17 km) is the nearest airport.
