Established in 1983, Kailadevi Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the village of
Kailadevi. It occupies an area of 676 sq km. The sanctuary is attached to Ranthambhor National Park and serves as a buffer area for wildlife. It is home to a wide variety of animals including tiger, leopard, chital, sambhar, wild boar, chinkara, blue bull, jackal and nilgai. The sanctuary is well connected by a network of road, rail, and air. The best time to visit this sanctuary is from October to May. Trained forest staffs are available as guides.
