Sardar Market is located near the
Clock Tower in
Jodhpur, the second largest city in
Rajasthan. It is an amazing example of 19th century town planning, with tiny shops lining both sides of the narrow lanes. The market displays a magnificent blend of modern architectural concepts with
Rajput traditions.
The shops at the market sell a wide range of handicrafts. A variety of spices, second-hand defence articles, old books, vegetables and colorful Indian sweets are also available in these shops. Gulab Sagar Lake, an old water source, is located nearby.
