Thakarda

The town of Thakarda is in Dungarpur District of Rajasthan. It is about 7 km to the west of Sagwara. Some of the other places situated in close proximity to this desert town include Jethana, Padwa and Mando.

Seventeen kilometers to the south is Galiyakot which holds the Urs festival every year. Juna Mahal, Gaib Sagar Lake and Dungarpur Teerth are some of the major tourist attractions.

Thakarda is on the road which runs between Dungarpur and Banswara. Dungarpur Railway Station and Maharana Pratap Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
