Government Museum - Jodhpur

Situated in Umaid Gardens on High Court Road, Jodhpur Government Museum has a rare collection of stuffed animals including a number of desert birds. The military section of the museum has cumbersome wooden biplane models and an extraordinary brass battleship. The museum also exhibits a wide collection of coins, paintings, wood, leather, pottery, antiquities, ivory, stone, arms, metal, natural history, minerals, glass and educational apparatus. Library facility is available. It is open daily from 10:00 to 16:30 hrs, except on Fridays and public holidays.
