Gagron (also spelt as Gagraon) is an important tourist destination in
Jhalawar District of
Rajasthan. It is about 5 km north of
Jhalawar, the district headquarters.
Gagron Fort is the main attraction here. The area is famous for Alexandrine parrots, which are found in the Gagron Fort. These parrots are also known as Gagroni parrot.
Jhalawar Road Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Kota Airport is the nearest airport.
