Debari is a small town located in
Udaipur District,
Rajasthan. It is about 11 km east of
Udaipur. The town has a majestic gate built between 1653 and 1680 by Maharana Raj Singh I. Mughal Emperor Jahangir captured Debari in 1611.
Debari is famous for its Debari Zinc Smelter, where lead-zinc ore from the Zawar Mines south of Udaipur is smelted.
Debari Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
