Built by Maharao Shatrasal Singh, Chhatra Mahal is a beautiful palace with full of murals in the miniature style. Glass and ivory work done on the gates are beautiful. Of special interest is the beautiful small pool and Hathiya Sal.
The nearest town of Kota is 36 km from
Bundi and is an important railhead. Bundi is also well linked by bus with
Ajmer (5 hours), Udaipur (9 hours) and Jaipur (5 hours).
