Charan Chauki Temple is an ancient temple situated 15 km away from
Kota. The foot prints of
Lord Krishna are still present in this temple. Krishna is said to have rested here for some time at this temple on his way to
Dwarka from
Mathura.
Kota is connected with important towns by road and rail. It is on the main Delhi-Mumbai rail route.
