Taranagar, also known as Reni, is situated in
Churu District of
Rajasthan. It lies on the state highway, running between
Sardarshahr and Rajgarh, which finally merges with the
National Highway 65.
Kartwas is the nearest town, 5 km to the west. Changoi, 9 km to the east; Bhalau, 9 km to the north; and Dhani Budali, 11 km to the south are some of the other nearby towns.
Tal Chhapar Sanctuary, Dudhwa Khara, Ratangarh Fort and Surana Haveli are the places of tourist importance.
Sanganer Airport and Churu Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
