Batrao

Batrao is a hamlet situated near the Line of Control (LOC) in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan. It lies in the expanse of the Thar Desert. Jannio, Babuhri and Garsia are the nearest places. Twenty-seven kilometers to the north lies Shahgarh.

The lack of availability of water from the canals is one of the main crises of the villagers.

The nearest railhead and airport are Jaisalmer Railway Station and Jaisalmer Airport situated at Jaisalmer.
