Balotra

Balotra is one of the two major sub-divisions of Barmer District. Kanana is the venue for the Sheetla Saptmi Mela, located near Balotra. Balotra is an important center of printing and dyeing.

Pachpadra Lake is an interesting destination nearby. Parshwanath Temple - Nakoda Tirth is a Jain pilgrimage center, around 10 km from Balotra. Balotra horse and camel fair is usually held in the month of March.
