Bali, the monkey king of
Kishkinda, is an important character in
Ramayana. He was a very powerful king. Bali has killed two demons by name Mayavi and Dundubhi. He is mostly remembered in the great epic for the enmity and war between him and his brother
Sugreeva, a faithful follower of
Lord Ram. Ram cast an arrow from his hideout and killed Bali in the course of the Bali-Sugreeva war.
