Kesroli is a small and serene village situated 12 km from
Alwar, in
Rajasthan. Its vast expanses of yellow mustard flowers, juxtaposed with the different hues of green of the wheat fields - all set against the backdrop of the undulating
Aravalli ranges, offer a stunning ambience. Kesroli is 150 km south-west of
New Delhi.
Major attraction here is a 600-year-old fort, now run as a 21-room luxury hotel, perched atop a hill. From this oldest heritage site in India, one could catch the splendid agrarian views of the surroundings. Excursions to Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary (48 km), Alwar, Neelkanth Temple, Pandupol, the monuments of Tijara and Siliserh (25 km) would be an interesting experience.
Nearest airport is at Jaipur. Nearby railhead is at Alwar.
