Takhni-Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the slopes of the Shivaliks in Hoshiarpur District of Punjab. Covered with dry deciduous, moist deciduous scrub and chir pine forests, it is home to sambar, barking deer, wild boar, hare, jackal, jungle cats and birds.
