Agaul is a small village situated about 10 km from
Nabha in
Patiala District. This is a historical village connected with
Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh
Guru. The guru blessed this village in the course of a journey. He rested under a peepal tree beside a pond. This well-preserved pond, Ram Talai, is believed to have medicinal properties for healing various skin diseases. Main attraction is a
gurdwara, built in memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur, which preserves an old lithographed copy of the Holy
Guru Granth Sahib printed in 1893.
