Makar Vahini Ganga Temple




Situated in the east of Lalitaro Bridge on Birla Ghat, in Haridwar District, Makar Vahini Ganga Temple enshrines a black stone idol of Goddess Ganga sitting on a crocodile. A beautiful cover of brass is done on all the side of statue. This temple, built in the year 1978, is constructed in the South Indian style of temples. The specialty is that priest of the temple adorns this statue with yellow flowers to please the devotees.
