Ferozepur District of
Punjab, located on the Indo-Pakistan border, covers an area of about 4,302 sq km. The surface is almost plain except some few sand hills in the south and south-east.
There are many rice factories. The main crops are rice, wheat, barley, millet, gram, pulses, oilseeds, cotton, and tobacco. Ferozepur is also known for its cotton and wool weaving products.
