Gurdwara Bad Tirath Sahib is situated at
Haripura village in
Punjab's
Ferozepur District. It was built to commemorate the visits of
Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru during his first Udasi and
Guru Gobind Singh, the last Sikh Guru after the battle of
Muktsar. It is believed that an evil man who used to terrorize the villager, bowed before Guru Nanak and requested for deliverance from his sin. The Guru blessed the man who thereafter lived without disturbing the villagers. In the Gurdwara the birthday of Guru Nanak is celebrated with traditional pomp and show.
