Bur Majra is a historic village lying about 8 km east of Chamkaur Sahib, Rupnagar District. This village is associated with Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, who halted here in the year 1705 during his journey to Chamkaur Sahib.
Major point of attraction is the Gurdwara Manji Bur Majra. This Gurdwara, popularly known as Gurdwara Patshahi 10, draws a large number of devotees. There is an ancient well located here.
