Abohar Wildlife Sanctuary, spread over an area of 188 sq km, was established in 1975 with the aim to guard the wildlife in
Ferozepur District of
Punjab.
Blackbucks and neelgai are the major inhabitants. Apart from these, the sanctuary protects peafowl, partridge, hare, jungle cat and other wild animals. The sanctuary also has dense citrus orchards.
Nearest major town is Abohar. Nearest railhead is Abohar Railway Station.
