Cinque Island

Cinque Island consists of two islets, joined by a spectacular sand peninsula. These uninhabited islands are part of the wildlife sanctuary south of Wandoor. Its undersea coral gardens and sunny beaches invite the marine life lovers. One can go swimming, scuba diving or snorkeling. Fishing and camping facilities are also available. Chartered boats take the tourists to Cinque Island.

Visiting boats usually anchor off South Cinque and the passengers are taken to the beach in dinghies. Only day visits are permitted and permission is to be obtained from the Forest Department. Boats are available from Chiriya Tapu and from Wandoor.
