Chidiya Tapu Beach is one of the best picnic spots in
Andaman District of
Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is about 2 km south of
Chidiya Tapu.
The beach offers some of the best snorkelling in the area. It is a heaven for collectors of sea shells because different varieties of colourful shells lie scattered all around. An ideal place for bird watchers, the place charms one with its scenic backdrop.
Buses are available daily from Port Blair to Chidiya Tapu village.
