Yogimath is an important destination in
Nuapada District of
Orissa. It lies about 9 km east of
Khariar and 67 km from
Bhawanipatna.
This village is famous for the cave paintings of Neolithic age. The paintings are carved on the rock surface depicting the domestication of animals (a hull, a calf and a man) and man's entry into agriculture. Close to the village is the Risipiti Mountain, interesting for producing clear echoes.
