Sahid Minar is located in the Papadahandi block of
Nabarangpur District. This was raised in remembrance of the sacrifice made by those innocent and long-forgotten patriots on the same river bank, who had laid down their lives for the greater cause of the country. Every year on 24 August, people gather here to pay floral tribute to those brave souls.
