Patalganga is among the famous places located in in
Nuapada District of
Orissa. This small town is about 40 km weast of
Khariar and 114 km from
Bhawanipatna.
Considered as a holy place, Patalganga is famous for its perenial spring of mineral water. The water of the spring is considered as sacred as that of the holy Ganges. On the day of solar eclipse and lunar eclipse, a large number of people gather here to take bath in the holy water.
