Brabourne Stadium, situated at
Mumbai, is one of the best in the world with a picturesque backdrop. Built on a piece of land reclaimed from the
Arabian Sea, by Lord Brabourne, the Governor of Bombay, it was thrown open to the public in 1937. This favorite cricket ground of India has been the venue of many national and international cricket matches. The stadium has a seating capacity of more than 40,000 people.
