Kuhuri

Lying on the Visakhapatnam-Cuttack rail route, Kuhuri is a town on the banks of the Chilika Lake. It is between Barkul and Bhagabatipur, in Khordha District of Orissa. Biribadi is nearly 2 km west and Sunakhala is roughly 5 km south-west.

Chilika Wildlife Sanctuary is the nearest tourist destination. The ancient Daksheshwar temple at Banpur with fine specimens of Orissan architecture and sculpture is worth a visit.

Kuhuri is accessible via Bhusandapur Railway Station and Biju Patnaik Airport.
