Shri Gopaljeu Math in Gadakhola is a sacred place of the Nimbark community, on the way to Kantilo, which is 25 km from
Nayagarh. The math enshrines Lord Gopaljeu along with
Lord Ram,
Lakshman,
Sita, Radha -
Krishna and
Hanuman, made up of eight different metals. Its architecture resembles the architecture of the
Jagannath Temple of
Puri. The main attraction is its main gate with a beautifully carved brass door.
Popularly called Goobardhan Prasad, Gadakhola, is located at the foot of the ‘Gopaljeu Munda Mountain.’ Gadakhola is 14 km from Khandapara.
