Situated on a hill between Farkawn and Vaphai villages, Kungawrhi is one of the biggest caves in
Aizawl District of
Mizoram. According to folklore, Kungawrhi, a beautiful young girl, was abducted by some evil spirits and kept confined in this cave while on her way to her husband's village - hence the name. Kungawrhi, however, was later rescued by her husband Pnathira.
