Paud is a taluk headquarters situated 12 km north-east of Dasave, in Pune District. It is 10 km east of Waki and around 25 km north of Welhe. Pune - the district headquarters – is around 24 km east.
Mulshi Lake, Khadakwasla Lake, Panshet Dam, Shivaji Fort at Sinhgad and the historic sites and gardens in and around Pune are some of the tourist options available for visitors to Paud. The hill stations of Khandala and Lonavala are within easy access from Paud.
