Shegaon

Shegaon is a municipal town located in Buldhana District, Maharashtra. The place is renowned for the Samadhi of Shri Gajanan Maharaja. There is also a temple of Lord Ram, situated in the premises of the shrine.

Thousands of devotees from far and near visit the shrine every year. Ramnavami celebrated here in the month Chaitra (April) draws is a major draw.

State Transport Buses ply from Mumbai, Nasik, Nanded, Nagpur, Akola and Wardha to Shegaon. Shegaon is on the Mumbai CST-Nagpur-Howrah route by railway. Nearest airport is at Nagpur, about 316 km.
