Kohoj Fort is situated in North Konkan region of the
Sahyadris. Most of the fortifications are in ruins. Peaks and rocky formations on the summit bear an amazing resemblance to human figures. Rock climbing is needed to reach these spikes. There are two cannons as well as a temple. Also, water reservoirs are there on the top. Rivers such as Deherja, Pinjal, and Vaitarani can be viewed. The fort can be reached from Vaghote village, 5 km away.
