Valvan Lake

Valvan Lake is situated on the outskirts of Lonavala in Pune District of Maharashtra. The Indrayani River is its major source of water. This lake, known for its scenic beauty, gets its fair share of visitors from the tourists visiting Lonavala.

This lake acts as a reservoir for a power plant, which is supplied water through the Valvan dam. The places of visit near this lake include a beautiful garden and a pisciculture (fish breeding) center.
