Nagpur University, one of the oldest universities in India, is located in
Nagpur.
Established in 1923, a State University, it has 36 postgraduate departments, three constituent colleges/institutions and more than 350 affiliated colleges. Research programs are conducted in 36 departments and three conducted colleges are propelled through M Phi, Ph D and Post-Doc.
The university's Hobby Workshop conducts regular training programs in photography, painting, clay modeling, carpentry and electronics. The University has appointed the International Students' Advisor (ISA) to facilitate admissions of foreign students.
