Pohegaon

Pohegaon lies near Ahmednagar District’s northern border with Nasik District and is 13 km north-west of Rahata. Shirdi is quite close at 10 km and Ahmednagar - the district headquarters – is around 90 km from here. Loni, Muralidhar Temple at Yeola and Jayakwadi Bird Sanctuary are some places of tourist interest located nearby. Aurangabad Airport and Kopargaon Railway Station serve Pohegaon.
