Pangaon

Pangaon is located 12 km south of Barsi, in Solapur District. It lies on the state highway connecting Barsi and Solapur. Pangaon is situated around 8 km north of Surdi. Solapur, the district headquarters, is 54 km south.

The 6th century Chambhar and Dharashiv caves, Tuljapur, Maldhok Bird Sanctuary and Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary are places of tourist interest accessible from Pangaon.
