Wani is a small town located on the banks of the Nirguda River, in
Yavatmal District,
Maharashtra. It is a major center of trade in cattle and bullocks. There are several coal mines near Wani.
Major point of attraction here is the temple of Shri Ranganath Swami. Thousands of pilgrims visit the temple every year.
