Dahi Kadhi is one of the traditional Gujarati dishes eaten almost every day as a part of the regular meal. This healthy curry is made with beaten yoghurt thickened with chickpea flour. It has a delightful sour-sweet flavor tinged with a hint of chilli. It is not only light and simple to cook but also very tasty. This dish of deep-fried dumplings, braised in a spicy yogurt-based sauce, goes well with plain rice and papads. It is also served with Kachoomar (a spicy mixture of cold cabbage, carrots, green chilies and lemon juice).
